La Haye: Adrien Motjens, 1742. - 3 parts in an in-8 volume, red morocco, seven gilded fillets framing the boards, ornate ribbed spine, gilded inner border, gilded edges (19th century binding). Last early edition of Villon's works, before the one published by Abbé Prompsault with Techener in 1832. Dedicated to M. Jourdan, "conseiller privé de S.M. prussienne", this edition is based on the Coustelier edition of 1732, with new notes by Le Duchat and Formey. The title is printed in red and black. A very fine copy, with wide margins, in 19th-century morocco in the taste of Bauzonnet.
