The artist designed a model for a very limited edition of twenty. Each decanter was offered to Château Mouton Rothschild's most loyal customers at the beginning of 1983, on the occasion of Saint-Vincent, the traditional winegrowers' festival. This study bears witness to the preparatory work carried out by the artist to design the stopper, a functional and sculptural element that contributes to the identity of this exceptional decanter.
