Model 1786 cavalry flintlock snap hook. Round barrel, with thunderbolt sides, dated "87" with remainder of model marking on breech tail. Lock engraved "Maubeuge Manufr Rle" and round-bodied hammer. Brass fittings, some stamped, and iron rod. Light walnut stock with "GV 88" and probably regimental "C.21" markings. Iron ramrod. Barrel length: 70 cm - Overall length: 113 cm A.B.E (hole under the mouthpiece). Provenance: Former Jarlier collection.
