Flintlock infantry rifle model 1777-an IX Round barrel with thunderbolt. Hallmarked and dated 1810. Breechblock stamped "Mle 1777". Lock signed "Mre Imple de St Etienne" and round-bodied hammer. Iron fittings, some stamped (pitting, orange peel). Beautiful walnut stock with "EF" stamped peg and "Commune de Mozac S-P de Riom" iron markings. Iron ramrod (heavily pitted). Barrel length: 113 cm - Overall length: 152 cm A.B.E. First Empire period, later used in the National Guard in Mozac (Puy de Dôme).
