Beautiful double flintlock shotgun. Round, blued, patinated barrels with silver sights decorated in gold with foliage, trophies and "Canon tordu" on the band. Lock plates signed "Bouilly au Regt de Foix" (one screw and one jaw later). Chased silver fittings with foliage scrolls, weapons and hunting trophies. The buttplate is decorated in suite. Walnut stock with cheekpiece carved with foliage. Wooden ramrod. Length : 127 cm A.B.E. circa 1760-1780. Provenance: Former Jarlier collection.
