An IX model flintlock pistol. Round, thunder-headed barrel stamped F and marked on the right side "RF". Breech tail with "M an 9" engraving remains. Flat-body lock signed "Manufr Imple de Charleville" and round-body hammer. Bassinet stamped. Brass fittings uniformly stamped "F" and "MD" on the counterplate. Walnut stock with RF stamp and MD marking. Iron ramrod. Barrel length: 20 cm - Overall length: 35.5 cm A.B.E. Consulate period frame and Empire period lock. Small repair to the upper part of the hammer. Provenance: Former Jarlier collection.
