Pair of officer's flintlock pistols. Round barrels with beads at the muzzles, and flats at the thunderbolts. Lock plates signed "Laborde à Paris" and engraved with cherubs' tails and flat-bodied swan-neck dogs. Flat-bodied swan-neck dogs. Cut-out and engraved iron fittings. Line-decorated long-eared knobs. Walnut crossbars, partly carved. A.B.E. (one antique hammer, one stock repaired, one barrel spliced). Circa 1760.
