Officer's flintlock pommel pistol. Round barrel with thunderbolt flanks, engraved and signed "Lubert". Flat-body lock signed "Lubert à Nantes". Round-bodied gooseneck hammer. Bassinet. Cut-out and engraved iron fittings. Long-eared pommel. Cap nail engraved with a sun. Walnut stock with long barrel. Wooden ramrod with iron tip. Length: 39.5 cm A.B.E. (slight lack of wood at the end of the barrel). Circa 1760-1780. The sun on the cap nail can be attributed to the King's bodyguards.
