Chevau-Légers sword of the King's Household, model 1814. Entirely silver filigree. Gilded and chased brass mounting, single-branch guard, pommel decorated with the profile of Henri IV and a fleur-de-lys. Crosspiece with two quillons decorated in relief with a medallion bearing the date "1593", keyboard with the "Armes de France" crowned on a background of four standards. Triangular blade, blued, gilded and engraved in thirds. Leather scabbard with gilded brass cap and bolt decorated with laurel frieze. Iron ball stinger. Length : 94 cm B.E. Restoration period.
