Light cavalry officer's saber. Checkered wooden handle (cracked and heavily worn). Brass mounting. Single-branch hilt, shuttle-shaped pommels and curved quillon. Flat-backed blade with hollow sides, engraved with flowers and trophies, from Solingen. Brass ferrule (iron bowl mismatched) with two brass bracelets and two rings, asymmetrical brass sting.
