Officer's sword. Brass mounting with rocaille decoration, single-branch guard, donkey step and bivalve shell. Beautiful triangular blade signed on the heel "Manufacture de la marque à l'extra-fin à Solingen", engraved with trophy and rocaille motif and the inscription "vive Louis XV le bien-aimé" surrounding a portrait of the king under a crown. Later leather strap with two brass fittings. Total length: 95 cm A.B.E. Mid 18th century.
