Manuscript of two poems, numbered 1 and 2, used for printing in Les Nouvelles littéraires of March 31, 1934: in blue pencil, the title has been crossed out and the signature "Max Jacob" added. They were collected in Actualités éternelles (1996, p.266). The first poem has 16 lines, 3 of which have been circled with the words "à supprimer" ("to be deleted"): "I am one-eyed and not blind for the blind cannot see the truth I see it and I bellow it"... The second has 4 quatrains: "To rejoice, when I'm alone and poor I only need God my friend"...
