He clarifies the deduction made from his salary, for payment of the 300fr. fine, by the theater cashier. Concerning the large posters, in April he proposed to Cogniard that he pay for the extra costs himself: "I was speaking for the future and could not speak of the past". Receipts were down, and "I would have had to pay this additional expense out of my ordinary salary, which I don't think is possible"...
