Marie DORVAL. L.A.S., November 1 [1837 or 1838?], to Baron Taylor (royal commissioner to the Théâtre Français); 1 1/2 pages in-8. She has long wished "to hear the repertoire of the Théâtre Français in my evenings of freedom". Perrier had offered her one of his tickets, "but I'd be afraid of being indiscreet in accepting them, and then I confess I'd rather have them from you. I wouldn't need, I assure you, to see the salle des Français, to remember what kind of entrance you wanted to give me, and what grace you put into the friendly steps you took for me. I hope that the confidence I have shown in making this request will prove to you the pleasure I would have in thanking you for a new service"...
