A protean, multidisciplinary artist, he explored writing, drawing, painting and, above all, clay, which became his preferred language. In Vallauris, he founded the Le Triptyque workshop with Gilbert Portanier and Francine Del Pierre, before moving to Paris, where he created zoomorphic and anthropomorphic works that met with great success. His many travels enriched his production and fed his bold imagination. His constantly renewed work bears witness to a rare creative freedom, making him one of the most original artists of the post-war period.
