Sixteenth edition of this Histoire générale de l'Espagne, a landmark in Spanish historiography, written by Father Juan de Mariana (1536-1624), one of the great intellectuals of the 16th century. Elegant, homogeneous set despite the wear of time; interiors very well preserved.
