Leather browned in places, minor rubbing, white marks on boards, some corners slightly crushed. Set of the 7 volumes making up this history of democratic France between 1789 and 1900, corresponding to the second part (volumes 9 to 15) of the Nouvelle Histoire de France depuis les origines jusqu'à nos jours by historian Jules Trousset (1842 - 1916). It is accompanied by a rich iconography comprising 102 hors-texte black engravings, including 7 frontispieces. Solidly uniform, very clean inside.
