The Childe family lived a social life, frequenting the European aristocracy, but curiously remained attached to Château du Perthuis and to the memory of the Triqueti family. They kept the estate as Blanche had laid it out in 1883, and after Marie's death in 1944, the château remained the property of the family, who cultivated its memory.
