Leather-lined ring chinstraps with daisy-shaped bosses. Marmoset with gilded brass rope decoration. Mounted with leather cap. Black horsehair mane, red horsehair marmoset puff, presented with a scarlet and black plume. Composite (later headband, gilded trim). - Cuirass model 1855. Iron (oxidation) with brass rivets. Leather-lined brass 8-ring shoulder straps. Iron clips. Leather belt with brass buckle (repairs). Presented with a pair of scarlet epaulets.
