Dragon officer's helmet, model 1858. Bomb, gadrooned crest, marmoset, daisy bosses, leather-lined chinstrap with guilloché rings, in gilded brass. Brass snap ring. Panther skin headband, black horsehair mane with braid. Inner headpiece in basane (minor accidents), originally mounted. Presented with a later tricolor silver olive plume. A.B.E. (small size).
