Officer's sword of the King's Household, modified during the July Monarchy. Horn butt. Brass mounting, pommel with the profile of King Henri IV on the obverse and a fleur-de-lys, hilt with one fluted branch. Keyboard in the shape of a shield ending in a rooster's head, decorated with a radiating motif on branches of oak and laurel (bodyguards), covered by a rooster motif. Plain triangular blade.
