King's bodyguard saber, 1st model. Handle in stingray with silver filigree. Gilt brass mounting, shell guard with the great arms of France. Palmette-shaped quillon with double "B" hallmark, including one by Bick. Flat-backed arched blade engraved "Manufr Rle du Klingenthal décembre 1814", hallmarked and engraved with fleurs-de-lis, trophies of arms, arms of France and "gardes du corps du roi".
