Flat-backed straight blade, double hollow sides, engraved, gilded and blued in thirds with imperial eagle and "Garde d'honneur impériale de la ville de Strasbourg". Black leather scabbard with three gilded brass fittings and punched iron stinger. Length: 114 cm A.B.E. (significant pitting on the blade affecting the decoration). First Empire period.
