Light cavalry officer's saber. Checkered varnished wood handle (small crack). Brass mounting, single-branch guard and shuttle-shaped mounts. Straight quillon, curved at the tip. Curved blade with flat back and hollow sides, engraved, gilded and one-third blued (wear). Brass scabbard with two flat bracelets and two rings. Asymmetrical iron sting. Length: 89 cm A.B.E. (traces of silver plating). Consulat-Empire period.
