Floral jewelry box, Ottoman Empire, 19th century Oval jewelry box opening to a hinged lid with a floral grip and flanked by two curved rings. In silver with repoussé and chased decoration of floral stems animated by birds, a large medallion with a rosette in the center of the lid. On the front, a lock flanked by two flowers applied in relief (one missing). Arabic hallmark on the bottom. Length: 20.5 cm; weight: 654 g Silver control marks, small floral applique missing from front, key missing, minor knocks and scratches. Two small silver bas-titre boxes, Tunisia, early 20th century. One tripod with globular body topped by a discoid lid, Tunisian hallmark 800/1000, the other pear-shaped, with a two-leaf handle, all with cast and engraved floral decoration.
