Set of five talismanic boxes, North Africa, late 19th - early 20th century Rectangular in shape, four in metal, the fifth in engraved and embossed brass. The first with geometric decoration, suspended from a chain punctuated with copal and/or resin beads and spherical and hemispherical silver beads, three in pendants under the base, L. (with chain): 45 cm; the second suspended from a chain punctuated with two Moroccan dirhams, with vegetal decoration and conical pendants enhanced with red beads, L. (with chain): 45.5 cm; the third, decorated with crescent moons and stars suspended by a chain, L. (with chain): 33 cm; the fourth, with curved sides and star decoration, several suspension rings, H. 12 cm; the last in brass, engraved with rosettes and an embossed rhombus, H. 8.1 cm. A triangular metal pendant is included.
