Very fine proof on chine appliqué, with olive-green remark (dog seated in profile), numbered and initialed by the publisher G. Pellet in pen and ink (Lugt 1194) then stamped in the lower right corner (Lugt 1190). Some light freckling and tiny rust spots in the subject. Slight dusting and oxidation at the edges of the folio. Creases and small accidents in the upper corners. Very wide margins.
