MAURICE PRÉ (1907-1988) MODEL DESIGNER & MANUFACTURE NATIONALE DE SÈVRES Untitled, the model designed around [1948-1949]. Pair of elegant salon lamps. The square bases in black enameled porcelain. The flared shafts in patinated bonze, each with a concave groove and three discs. The cylindrical celadon-enameled porcelain shades are each topped with a patinated bronze motif. An accident on one of the bases, a lampshade replaced, missing a small brass reception nipple on one of the shades. Each base bears the Manufacture Nationale de SÈVRES date stamp 49 (for 1949), one shade (the replaced one) the Manufacture Nationale de SÈVRES date stamp 74 (for 1974) on the inside.
