The Visitation is carved here by a craftsman probably from Italy in the 17th or 18th century. In the foreground, he depicted the meeting of the two women, during which Mary visits Elizabeth. In a second reading plane, he depicts Elizabeth's house, where Mary will stay for 3 months, Zechariah, Elizabeth's husband, and a palm tree as a decorative element. The quality of the composition, the finesse of the depiction and the theme treated lead us to date this cameo to the late 17th-early 18th century.
