Very fine tableau-poème, by the famous Dutch painter Piet MONDRIAN (1872-1944), with text by the poet Michel Seuphor (1901-1999), the original of which dates from 1928. This lithographic reproduction was printed on Arches wove paper by Esther Gentle Reproductions in New York. According to bibliographers, it was offered for sale in 1952, although the printing probably dates back to December 1951 - a date confirmed by a dedication by Michel Seuphor on Bernard Gheerbrant's copy, sold in Brussels on May 31, 2024. On the verso, Gheerbrant also specified that the edition was limited to 150 copies, offered at a price of 12 dollars. A very well preserved copy.
