In 1932, nine years after taking over the family fur business and adding a couture activity, Jacques Heim was at the head of a fully operational company, taking full advantage of all that photography and its media extensions could offer in terms of identity and promotion. Whether for his magazine, created in 1930 and directed by Marcel Zahar, or for his catalogs, he called on the most innovative photographers and studios of his time, such as Florence Henri, Germaine Krull, Emmanuel Sougez or Egidio Scaioni. Witness to this creative porosity, some of the images appear in both the company's catalogs and the magazine Heim. These two volumes, covering the year 1932, are a rare and eloquent example of this ambitious use of the medium.
