DAUM NANCY Streaks and chevrons, Daum reference no. 4991, the model created around [1925]. A rare and important modernist lamp. The cylindrical foot rests on a truncated cone-shaped base, the very high lampshade finished as a shell. Each part with a deeply acid-etched rotating title. Circa 1930. The wrought-iron shade support has been replaced and is not original. Base and lampshade each signed DAUM Nancy France à la Croix de Lorraine. H. 55 cm Provenance : Private collection, Brussels.
