Jeanne-Marie Rendu, Sister ROSALIE (1786-1856), nun of the Congrégation des Filles de la Charité de Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, beatified in 2003. L.A.S., November 26, to Mme Bedel, at the Convent des Anglaises, Paris; 1 1/2 pages in-8, addressed. She asks for "news of the poor girl for whom you are so kind and who is at La Pitié!", and sends 10F for her. She replied to another person "that we would do our utmost to support her good intentions; but she had to be provided with money until she could go to the maternity hospital. Here again is a good work recommended to your ingenious charity". Printed notice attached on Sister Rosalie.
