Berthollet begs to grant Villoteau the position of "de censeur au lycée de Tours", for which he would be perfectly suited: "you will be discharging a public debt to a man [...] of irreproachable moral character who, after fifteen years of dedication, finds himself threatened with deprivation of all resources"...
