Beautiful letter from the godmother to her godson [Sachs was baptized in the Catholic faith on August 29, 1925, in the private chapel of the Maritains, his godparents]. She tells him of her love, "for all that is good in you, for all that is difficult to resolve in your life, and for the suffering that results for you". She encourages him in his faith in Catholic doctrine: "Divine, it defends everything that prevents our spiritual release. Human, it forgives as long as we keep our faith and trust in God"...
