Louis-Ferdinand CÉLINE (1894-1961). L.A.S. "LF Destouches", [February 1939], to a "dear friend"; 2 1/2 pages in-4. Antisemitic obsession. "I take the liberty of forwarding to you ad usum delphini!... some small clippings... interesting perhaps"... An autograph note reads: "Les Juifs poussent à la guerre extraits récents". Another note lists two articles found in the February 26, 1939 issue of L'Action Française: "This issue of the AF of Feb. 26 seems interesting to me because it reproduces our case almost exactly, in the same issue. - on the first page, 5th column, accusations bellicistes (Des nouvelles...) ["Des Nouvelles de MM. de Rothschild" by Charles Maurras] - on the second page, 2nd column (La conquête Juive) [giving the list of Jews elected to the Chambre syndicale de la Meunerie de Paris]".
