Josephine BAKER (1906-1975). 5 L.S., 1959-1974, to Jean (Jo) Mehu; 1page in-4 dactyl. each (last repaired with scotch tape). Friendly letters. She will speak for him to Coquatrix; she regrets not being able to go to a dinner party; she advises him not to give up Peugeot, while understanding "that your artist's soul urges you to dabble in the stage"... Etc.
