Large porcelain stoneware bottle vase for fountain use, Japan, Kyoto, 19th century The brown-glazed body is decorated with six fan-shaped reserves on a cream-glazed background, decorated in sepia with landscapes, flowers, birds and poems. The neck is adorned with three lambrequins enameled in the same technique with stylized designs of carp, uchiwa, flowers and phoenix.
