Small pink glass jar in the form of a lotus flower bud, China, 19th century The body is entirely covered with a molded and sculpted decoration of superimposed lotus petals. Each petal is slightly domed, giving volume to this representation of a large lotus flower bud. The bottom of the jar is flat. It comes with an Edo period Japanese wood base carved with chrysanthemum flowers and foliage, resting on four arched feet and topped with a modern wood piece. Height : 16 cm Pierced bottom.
