Large Chinese white porcelain Guanyin, China, Dehua, 18th century Depicted standing on a cloud-shaped base, her face serene, eyes half-closed, a lotus flower adorns her torso. She is dressed in a robe and cloak forming harmonious folds along her body. Two lotus flowers suspended from a cord adorn the bottom of the dress. Her hair is coiffed in a bun and adorned with a tiara featuring Amitabha Buddha in the center. A veil covers the back of the head and falls to the shoulders.
