Philippe Chambost, Pascal Marziano and Arnaud Serpollet - 1947-2017, 70 ans d'expression céramique française - Éditions Les livres de l'îlot, Neuvic, 2020. Our work reproduced on page 237.

Rémi Bonhert's artistic experience began with the study of ceramics at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bourges, followed by an internship in the studio of Yves Mohy (1928-2004) in La Borne. Building on this training, he began his own production with his wife Hildegund Schlichenmaïer (1941-2024). His works, reflecting the profound influence of Jean and Jacqueline Lerat (1913-1992) (1920-2009), who were his teachers in Bourges, present a primordial aspect of the material, sometimes animated by spiral or fossil motifs, referring to the plant and animal world.
