PARIS 1854 - 1858 Rectangular silver-plated tray with rounded corners and two twisted handles with ivy leaf attachments. The body is chased and engraved throughout, with the large arms of Napoleon III in the center, underlined by two N's crowned with the imperial crown, surrounded by bees and ivy. The rim is edged with palmettes. Good silvering. Goldsmith: CHRISTOFLE in all letters and goldsmith's hallmark.
