MANUFACTURE DESFOSSE & KARTH Louis XIV décor with flowers, after designs by Edouard MULLER, created circa 1862/63. Eight pilasters imitate woodwork painted with polychrome flowers. Variable colors and dimensions. Some enhanced with gilding. Condition: Tears, small scattered stains and wear. One missing 30 cm at bottom, two missing and torn. Dimensions of decor: approx. 263 x 65.5 cm. Also included: a frieze of flowers on a blue background: 26.5 x 390 cm. Elements of this décor are in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and the Musée d'Orsay.
