Model 1849 marine percussion pistol. Round thunderbolt barrel stamped and dated 1850. Breechblock with rear sight stamped "Mle 1849". Lock engraved "Mre Nle de Châtellerault" and round-necked hammer. Uniformly stamped brass fittings. Cap stamped in ink. Punched iron belt hook. Light walnut stock with fine markings, including stamp dated 1850. Chain-mounted ramrod. Length : 32 cm B.E.
