First separate edition of this collection of 19 poems previously published in "Comme une pieuvre que son encre efface", illustrated with 8 original unsigned etchings by the Italian painter and illustrator Paolo VALLORZ (1931-2017), 7 of which are full-page and one as a cul-de-lampe. The title page features a woodcut by Henri Renaud after a drawing by Sam Szafran. Limited edition of 150 copies on Arches wove paper, signed by the author and the artist at the justification, this being one of 26 author's copies, specially printed for Mr. and Mrs. Sam Szafran.
