The last two autograph leaves contain a series of epigrams written by Pommereul between May 1819 and December 25, 1822, i.e. just before his death on January 5, 1823. Copy in modern binding, with a "Notice sur M. Pommereul" by M. Beuchot at the head. A pencil note on the first white endpaper states: "Beuchot's notice is reassembled at the head, as found in the copy in brochure under red waxed paper (1993)." In this notice, Beuchot mentions this work when describing this copy, clumsily indicating 156 pages instead of 98. Worm damage and heavy foxing to Beuchot's notice. Some scattered foxing to the "Epigrams" work. Provenance: François-René-Jean de Pommereul. - Beuchot ? - Klincksieck, according to a note on the first white endpaper."
