Volume comprising the section devoted to the Guyenne region of southwestern France, taken from volume 4 of the 1663 edition of "Topographia Galliae". These are pages 45 to 186 (incorrectly numbered 196), including a map of the region, in French, and 10 plates depicting Bayonne, Bergerac, Blaye, Saint Jean d'Angély, Lectoure, Libourne, Navarrenx, Royan, Saintes, the aqueducts near Saintes and a superb view of Bordeaux. Title-piece largely undone, hinges split, corners dulled. Very good condition inside.
