Small floral box, North India, Rajasthan, probably Jaipur, 19th century Gold octagonal box (750/1000) with hinged lid featuring floral decoration enameled in red, green, white and blue, with birds nesting in plant stems. On the lid, whose interior is also enameled, radiating decoration around a cabochon diamond and alternating a bird in enameled foliage and a floral stem of diamonds set in gold fillets on a red enameled ground.
