Couple embracing in front of a tree, Iran, Safavid style, 19th century, falsely attributed to Reza Abbasi Ink drawing on paper enhanced with gouache and gold, depicting a turbaned man and a veiled woman kneeling and embracing in front of a tree, both holding a cup in one hand. Lower left, apocryphal signature of Reza e-Abbasi and date 1130 H / 1717. Mounted as an album page on card with two cartouches of floral decoration on pink paper, fine gilded borders and a margin decorated with medallions trimmed with gilded vegetal scrolls. Framed.
