Rifle cane, India, 19th century Long cylindrical steel cane with gold- and silver-encrusted floral decoration in vertical, horizontal or twisted registers. The rounded wooden pommel is inlaid with silver wires depicting rosettes and foliage, and punctuated with small metal studs. The mechanism is visible under the handle.
